AIDE

AIDE is a 501-3c organization comprised of members that act as advocates and supporters of the independent funeral homes in Illinois.  Most funeral homes are owned and operated by personnel not tied to public companies or large private enterprises. Their voice can often be overlooked, making them the silent majority.  

AIDE recognizes the importance of this majority group of funeral professionals, the ones pressing for modernization and needed changes in laws, regulations, continuing education, and funeral customs and practices.  But often not being heard or worse, not being asked. AIDE acts as a clearinghouse for ideas and programs that not only affect today’s funeral operations but look forward to those evolutionary changes that will be required to serve families in the future.

AIDE and its members prioritize critical initiatives and then relentlessly pursue the desired outcome.
